Moinian and AAlchemy

Moinian and AAlchemy

Our Core Ask of the Moinian Group

Would the Moinian Group be willing to support AAlchemy for the next two years during AAlchemy’s search for a permanent space?

The Moinian Group’s support would be to provide production and performance space from time to time for AAlchemy programming and productions in the same manner as it did at the 45th Street site for the January 2020 The Pigeon & The Mouse premiere, and for the October 2021 Welcome To Campfire production at 605 W. 42nd Street.

This support would be subject to the same availability and other constraints that applied then and presumably now, e.g. space availability, indemnity, insurance requirements, after-performance site restoration.

What’s In It for the Moinian Group

The generic AAlchemy presentation book on our website homepage is less detailed than the version to the left, which is specific to the Moinian Group. AAlchemy would be:

  • Showcasing the Moinian Group and how the inventive use of space demonstrates the Group’s ability to meet consumer, corporate and retailer demand for high-end quality premises.
  • Providing non-top AAlchemy recognition of the Moinian Group’s support during and after the relationship, in PR, marketing, AAlchemy’s own and -partner websites, and similar initiatives.
  • Opening specific federal, state, and/or NYCity tax credits and deductions to which the Moinian Group would be entitled in addition to the standard charitable (or marketing) expense deductions it might normally elect to take.
  • Enabling the Group to recover explicit costs up to a $3 million NYState/City tax credit for individual qualified productions that it might choose to support financially in whole or part.
  • Offering at cost creative production using AAlchemy’s full creative resources and performers to produce one or more videos – long, medium or short – showcasing Moinian Grpoup properties.

Next Steps

We’re ready to work with you to define how to make this proposal work very well for the Moinian group. Click on the menu at the upper right to find out more about AAlchemy.

Only this question for now: does the possibility exist for the Moinian Group supporting AAlchemy in this fashion?
